thinking back to the great privilege I had of sharing a trip to mother India with my family a while back..the immense heat had us girls looking like washed up poodles..coiffed hair behaved very badly because of the humidity but nonetheless an experience to always remember...💕it was such an intense sensory overload of note..eau de Mumbai slum as i like to call it, infused with fragrant spicy dishes at every meal stop..my only regret is that we didn't make it to Agra to visit the majestic Taj Mahal..I suppose an excuse to return very soon again..xx

the eid countdown..

as quickly as ramadaan came..we are now down to the final couple of days..and so the madness of the eid rush is upon us..final dress fittings..shoe fittings..make up trials..lol! may the almighty accept all our duas, our efforts inshallah and give me the energy to survive a five day eid celebration..xx

feeling the spring...
